We live in the digital age and there is an ever-present urging need for a human connection and the magic of the moment that only Live Performing Arts can give. It does not matter is you watch a street performance, an amateur high school theatre play or a stadium rock concert. What is important - is the intricate immediacy of the moment that will be never repeated because each Live Show is unique. And the energy of the artists on stage combined with the talent and passion of show creators is ephemeral but it has a unique quality to live in our hears till the end of our days!

ShowMemory celebrates this moment and extends the legacy of the people of the industry who often remain unknown to the general public and even to the professionals.

ShowMemory was imagined during the time of Pandemic that paralyzed the entire Live Industry. In a matter of a couple week an industry that counts hundreds of thousands across the world had become “non essential”. It was dramatic. Artists losing their jobs and the means of survival, forced to change their profession. Contracts cancelled, theatres closed, investments revoked, creations stopped, tickets voided.

The industry is back but the vision is strong as ever before. ShowMemory is keeping the collective knowledge base and allowing to discover and revisit shows, events and people of the industry – from the past, into the present and encourage collective creation of the future. Because there is no future without the past, without the roots.

The Founder and CEO of ShowMemory.com is Pavel Kotov who is a proven international leader. He plays an active role in the field of Live Entertainment for over 20 years. European vice-champion in acrobatic gymnastics, former acrobat in the Russian circus, PR officer for the Referees’ Committee of the Russian Football Union, accomplished brand director in the fitness and entertainment industry, he left Russia to join Cirque du Soleil in Canada as the Talent Scout to become the Senior Casting Director of Casting and Artist Management, involved in creation of over 20 signature shows of Cirque du Soleil. Jury member of the most prestigious circus festivals across the word, Pavel is a recognized figure in the industry.
