What we're looking for
Our company is looking for content writers to join our team at DafriGroup immediately
We’re a startup operating in a fast-paced environment. Everyone here works exceptionally hard. You must be willing to work some evenings and weekends where necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Researching industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
- Writing clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
- Preparing well-structured drafts, statement, speeches, press releases using Content Management Systems.
- Review of current contents published across our sites for rewrite or corrections of any errors.
- Responsible for creating engaging social media contents ready for our graphic team.
Requirements:
- Strong ownership mentality. Everyone at DafriGroup has to be action-oriented and an independent thinker;
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field.
- 3 -5 years content writing or copywriting experience.
- Understanding grammar rules and how to construct clear sentences
- Being mindful of things like flow, readability, and sentence variety
- The ability to write on subjects related to finance, banking, digital banking, fintech, crypto -blockchain, technology and hospitality.
- Computer literacy, as content writers use computers to create projects and to communicate with their team
- An understanding of search engine optimization best practices
- The ability to cooperate with other writers and colleagues to complete projects.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills;
- Working knowledge of content management systems. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Package Details
- N100,000 per month
- 12-month Renewable
- Majorly Remote (Your line manager might request a physical meeting once in a while)
